Lewisham

Mission

Can't say anything about the beds, they've not been made yet

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.

Despite some initial consternation at the location which was a road so new that it couldn't be found on the otherwise omniscient Google, Samuel and I both arrived on time and were greeted by Ms J's daughter, who explained the extent of the task to us.

Due to her imminent return from hospital and the necessity to have two hospital beds installed in her well-adorned front room, there was a number of big items of furniture to be shifted out of the way and into the bedroom.

We made short work of the sofa, which handily split into two, along with an impressively large TV and various tables and cabinets. In well under an hour we were all done with the room looking very well placed to host two special beds.

Samuel and I were soon on our way, slightly laden down with some goodies that Ms J's daughter insisted we took with us - they were much appreciated!
