Georgeta and Sheila went to help Mr F, whose garden has begun to get over-run with weeds, and the shrubs threatening to get out of control. The garden had obviously been well-cared for previously, so it was lovely to be able to help bring it back to it's former self. We were hoping that Mr F's dog Ozzie would stay and help us, but he took her indoors out of our way. We took on a large bush each, and before long had produced a huge pile of trimmings. There was also lots of willowherb weed going to seed in the borders, so pulling those out made a big difference to the appearance of the beds. In the end we had filled 8 dumpy bags full of green waste, but there are areas of the garden that could still be tackled . It was a lovely garden to work in, especially as we were blessed with lovely warm weather.
