I had an opportunity to volunteer with the Bankside Open Space Trust by doing a variety of tasks in one of their Community Gardens next to the Tate Modern. Tasks consisted of pruning, weeding, hoeing and watering. Bankside Open Space Trust is a registered environmental and volunteering charity, working to protect, preserve and enhance parks, gardens and other areas in the SE1 area. The Tate Community Garden has an orchard, flower beds, herb plants and a pergola.
