I don't usually write reports about my litter picking ventures, however today on a little 2k reccy round my local park I was encouraged to do so by people who spoke to me about how glad they were to see someone contributing to make their community a better place. I was actually really happy to tell them that actually I see several people in the week doing the same, and most recently someone and their two young boys.

If more and more young people see that people are doing this my hope is that they will start thinking about their local spaces, and not dropping litter themselves.

Ideally of course it is something we would not need to do!

Today's litter pick was a very windy one hence the pun, I was actually almost blown into the river and my bag ran away from me at one point which is probably good exercise as I chased it.
