Rachel and myself went to visit Ms W in her care home this afternoon. This week was Ms W's birthday, so we went the extra mile to try and make this visit a bit more special. There was a birthday cake, a Victoria sponge topped with fresh strawberries and a singing candle, and we ate cake while chatting and looking at Ms W's birthday cards and presents. Ms W enjoyed our visit very much and she's already been looking forward to the next one. Special thanks to Rachel for joining me and congratulations on her first social visit, hopefully one of many more to come!
