Having joined in January (and then everything coming to a halt in March) all of my GoodGym missions have been in the dark (good thing I invested in a head torch!) This was my first GoodGym run since the pandemic started and having only ‘seen’ Stephens House & Gardens in the dark, I was pleasantly surprised by 1) how large the gardens are and 2) how beautiful it is! I got there a little earlier than I had anticipated and took the opportunity to go for a quick walk & explore. I made my way to back to the House which is when I met fellow GoodGym member Jen who showed me the ropes (and by ropes, I mean bell, obviously!). It was a really relaxed task where Jen and I took it in turns to ring the bell and ask members of the public to kindly leave (though it took some people more than once!). Really happy that we got to help out the park ranger who seemed to have really appreciated our help.
