Mission

Bed-ridding in Water-loo

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.

Wednesday, 28th of March 2018

A miserable and soggy Wednesday lunchtime did not stop Nicky and I paddling around the backstreets of Waterloo to redesign Mrs C's flat and facilitate her return from hospital.

We were met by the lovely Caterina (Mrs C's OT), who had already taken care of the smaller jobs and simply needed us to move a three-seat sofa and single bed. Simple GoodGym jobs are never as easy as they may first appear but Nicky and I are experts in the removals business so we made fast work despite the very narrow hall and doorways.

Less than 15 minutes from arrival, the job was done, with Caterina overjoyed. We both set off back to work, in the ever pouring rain.
