Ms I and I got to work by grabbing the metal bed components down from a high cupboard, then unbundling them from their sellotape. They'd been up there for years, apparently - so any instructions have long since disappeared 🧩

After moving the current airbed out of its spot, I laid out the sturdiest-looking pieces in a rectangle to form the main base - then tried to figure out how everything attached from there. The main rectangle got assembled, and a few legs added, in time. But the race against the clock was tricky because each join's screw length & threading varied, and it's also hard to see where some of the pieces ultimately join up to each other 🕵️

Will have to revisit this one to finish the job - at least Ms I was happy to have made a start, either way! I moved the base of the bed frame & remaining pieces so they're not in her way for the time being
