Lewisham

Mission

Be prepared

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.

A rearranged mission which turned out to be a blessing as it avoided the extreme wind and rain from the previous day. Mrs R was well prepared for the visit of David and myself, all the tools were neatly laid out and the required jobs listed. She confirmed my suspicion that she had been a member of the girl guides! David set about weeding between the paving slabs while i attempted to support a shrub which was limping towards the ground. We combined resources to tame this shrub as I found holding and tying back a little tricky.

Next on the list was cutting back a couple of hydrangeas and nettle bushes.

The patio was swept and we left Mrs R feeling very happy
