Here's what Ms H of SW12 had to say about the mission:

A BIG THANK YOU to the GoodGym people, they did an amazing job Yes, it really is a jungle out there but (excuse the pun - I know you like puns) I really am starting to see the wood from the trees. Please send a massive thank you from this Balhamite; they did a blistering job in such ferocious heat!

Ms H of SW12, mission beneficiary

There wasn’t a cloud in the sky when four GoodGym members from across London came together to explore and tackle the jungle in Ms H’s garden.

Neil ran the furthest, a whopping 9 miles using the mission as a break between the move from his old to new home, whilst Pippa headed on the search for her own new abode and we heard all about Debra’s find nearly 20 years ago.

Ms H welcomed us with spirit and excitement, as well as tools and water. We quickly made a start in a few key areas of the garden, tackling brambles and bracken. An hour and a half later, with 18 bags of foliage we were surprised by a little slice of scrumptious Bakewell tart whilst Ms H told us of the days when she enjoyed her garden. There’s still a long way to go but we made a great start.

Congratulations to Debra on completing her first mission!
