Kate and I battled some serious degrees in order to make it to Mrs M's garden. When we arrived she quickly sorted us out with an giant umbrella for shade and instructions to tackle the weeds peeking through her decking.

Mrs M said that she could not manage this in the heat herself and it had been 3 years since they were last de-weeded.

A bit like a big jigsaw we had to lift and replace the panels in the correct formation. After developing a good system we were only interrupted by Kate's increasingly amazing animal discoveries under each panel.

First I spotted a few ants, then Kate saw a couple of snails. Next she came some serious looking spiders, followed by a wee lizard and then an actual frog! We left before the animals got any bigger.

Mrs M was happy with the results as she has been sitting out in her garden loads but I am not sure she believed us about the lizard!
