I’ve been told about recent research that suggests that dogs use the Earth’s magnetic field to help them defecate with their spine aligned in a north-south position. I’m sceptical, but unfortunately Molly chose not to cooperate with observational research during this afternoon’s walk.

On the plus side there are no directionally defecating dog photos.
