I was contacted by a local charity who are starting to do weekly hot meals for vulnerable and elderly in the local area. They sent out an urgent request for potato peelers.... it was as if they were calling half my heritage. Being Irish, my mum always taught me to properly peel and prepare spuds ! Iā€™m happy to say I did my mum proud and peeled 3 massive bags of potatoes and help make shepherds pie ready for the charity to deliver tomorrow!
