An exceedingly good delivery

Having heard from M that she was at Kingston Hospital and will be kept in overnight, meaning that she’ll wake up there for her birthday, I phoned the hospital to see if there was anything I could do. Understandably, visitors aren’t allowed, but they said I could pop by with a birthday card and some treats (and drop off my old crutches at the same time!). The triage nurse was lovely with checking that she was still there and said he’d make sure he took them to her as she was about to be transferred to a ward. Hopefully this will brighten up her birthday a little
