Alpine loop

This Evening Wayne & James headed off for a training session in preparation for an up and coming race. They headed over to Lightwater Country Park to tackle the 5km alpine loop. This is a series of hills that the army used to carry out training exercises. It was a lovely warm evening,☀️The boys pushed each other all the way with James especially taking advantage of the down hill running 🏃🏾‍♂️ sometimes even forgetting to put on the brakes. At the the end of the 5km the boys had a little more in reserve and continued to follow a different set of tracks which led them to do an additional 2km. At the end of the session there was a nice refreshing water melon to cool them down.

There will be another training session for next weekend if anybody fancy’s getting some hill training in.
