A Thank you goes a long way :)

This morning found me with a new filling from the dentist and a lovely numb face! With not being able to eat or drink anything I distracted myself with a walk and a litterpick!

I was quickly gathering lots of bottles and cans this morning and of course face masks.

Today I had 3 lovely thank yous which came in 3 different ways!

One - A lady said something to me, I took out my headphones "just saying thanks" she said!

Swifty followed by thank number ...

Two - Chap shouts from across the road "hey nice one, thanks, keep it up" accompanied with a cheery thumbs up!

Three Chap walks over and asks "are you doing this voluntarily?" ....I explain about Goodgym and said how great a group like that is. He also told me about his mother in law who was French, when they collected her from the airport she couldn't believe the rubbish on the sides of the roads coming out of London. Apparently she said "don't you care about your country in England?". Then the chap said "it's nice to see people like you care, thank you"

Oh my days what a lovely bunch out there, it was really good to get feedback like that and I'm sure it cheered them up to see people like Goodgym folk caring too ...nawwwww!
