Each year, the residents on Warwick Drive deck their halls (and their houses) with the most magical wonderland of festive lights (think the Blackpool illuminations of Stockport) to raise money for a well deserving charity.

While Storm Barra was causing havoc - from dark skies to hail to gail force winds, GoodGym Stockport were donning their hi vis, headtorches and even a Christmas hat or two to run out for our Christmas light run.

We embraced the 'refreshing' 9km run - A shower while running - perfect! And arrived at the beautiful illuminations, ready to feast on hot 'mulled wine' (blackcurrant codial - don't drink and run kids! ) and a tasty mine pie.
