A 'raleigh' great night of bingo-ing

Ashley and Pete joined myself, Rachel for a litter picking session in the city centre. We played the GoodGym 100 days of action litter pick bingo and managed to complete a line...not quite a full house. The items listed on the bingo sheet caused a lot of discussion amongst the group around what could be classed as a definite version and would be allowed to be marked off - we take our bingo very seriously! The bingo game made our regular litter picking into much more of a treasure hunt and made for a really interesting session. We once found a £10 note on a litter picking session and sadly haven't had this much luck since but tonight we did revisit the area where we found the note previously, just in case our bingo winnings came in.

The group had a good catchup about the impending Coronation and some of the marathons Pete's daughter has already completed and what she has planned for the future - inspirational!

We collected two bags of rubbish and the team were treated with some chocolate treats from Raleigh in celebration of the brand's collaboration with GoodGym.

Here's hoping for more sunshine the next time we meet once we've all dried out from a very soggy litter picking session.
