Rachel and myself arrived already grubby, ready for the horticultural happenings; a consequence of the gardening mission in the morning.

Having been here before, we knew what to expect; shed loads of thorns!

Our task was to cut brambles down, along with other unwanted vegetation, to get the garden in a manageable state. We chopped and piled up the spiky shrubs, cleared the garden of rubbish, that had become trapped in the bramble jungle, and untangled vegetation from the garden fence.

By the end of our session we felt like we had achieved a lot.
