Today's installment of helping out at The Junk Food Project had me taking out their Freegan boxes for delivery rather than the christmas hampers. The concept is to pull together dietary specific food crates, particularly focusing getting decent quantity of the best freshest fruit and veg but taking into account Gluten Free/Vegetarian/Vegan requirements, plus some additional ethical toiletries. A fantastic hamper for a minimal contribution for the amount of food delivered helps contribute to the running costs and helps to support the free christmas hamper meals

It took some time to get the final crates packed, but then off to an epic journey - the Christmas Hamper routes are packed close together to maximise efficiency but these are tad more spaced out as there are few of them so a tour of Morley, Batley, Heckmondwike, Mirfield, Cleckheaton, Bramley, Armley, Wortley, Holbeck and Hunslet ensued

Far fewer recipients not at home too for this batch (as they were all waiting for their foods!) and the crate left in the bin was their instruction not my crazy idea, honest!!
