Ms L had accumulated dozens of glasses over the years and had a large cabinet in her front room with them in. I’d dispersed them round her flat to allow some plaster repairs to be done behind the cabinet. Today’s job was to clean and return them to their home. I began to regret putting them all on the top of kitchen cupboards but eventually they were all rehomed.
