Like most of us, the items on the lovely Ms Y’s list don’t vary too much from week to week. One of her staples is McVities Dark Chocolate Digestives - the big packs were on offer this week, but alas the shelf was empty. The assistant stacking shelves confirmed that they’d run out. I was about to ring Ms Y to tell her the bad news, when there was a tap on my shoulders - ‘I couldn’t let the lady you shop for go without’ and I was presented with a packet!
