Today was my second social visit to Mrs D from Maidenhead and I have really enjoyed it. I think it's fair to say that we've got on like a house on fire! She told me she used to work as a microbiologist before she started her young family. She really loved her work and the challenges it brought. That was until Health and Safety came along and really changed the way things worked and truly limited what one could do. She does remember how one of her colleagues stored Chicken Pox in a biscuit tin!... And yes, somebody did get it! That was really funny! I would have probably got it myself, I can't resist a biscuit tin!! 😂
