A Beeping Nuisance

Mrs J's fire alarms had been beeping since Thursday, disrupting her sleep and causing a general nuisance! I armed myself with some 9v batteries and headed over to help out. Thankfully I'm quite tall so was able to reach them all using a ladder. They took a bit of wrestling off the bases, but after several attempts I managed it. New batteries finally went in, and peace descended!
