There were quite a few clients at the SHP Allotment, they were very grateful for the support with watering that GGR have given during the heatwave.

It was good to see them being so engaged busily weeding out one of the beds, there was one surving baby carrot that D decided deserved to live and he told everyone it was to be protected, well, everyone except R who promptly raked it up 😬 There was some talk of burying it and letting D say a few words in its memory then he surprised us all by eating it 🤣 Soon they were getting on with planting new seeds. T was busy working on the plot allocated to him then he cleaned the grime out of the bottom of the water butts and half filled them with water so there will be reserves when the main supply is low.

We then heard a little rumble of thunder so it was a race to get tidied up and for me to cycle home before the rains came...it was a race I lost and got very wet 😂
