Friends of Whirlowbrook Park - Plant Swap
Environmentally friendly restoration of gardens and park including a Climate Action Project with eco-audits and citizen science. A bat survey has recorded six species of bat in the park. The aim of the Plant Swap is to fundraise for bat boxes to attract more species.

Friends of Whirlowbrook Park would love us back for a 3rd year running to help out with the plant swap/sale. This year they are funding for a community orchard. Our jobs include carrying plants to cars, helping put publicity signs out, chatting to publc, directing traffic. And of course bring and buy your own plants!

Arrive any time from 9 and stay as long as you are able 😊
