WALKABLE: LEAFLET DROP FOR STRETFORD COMMUNITY HUB- SUPPORT FOR ISOLATED OLDER PEOPLE DUE TO COVID-19
Raise awareness of the essential work that the Community Hub is doing at this time
Have we got a mission on our hands?! Yes we have!
NOTE THIS IS A SOLO MISSION - I.E. COMPLETE ON YOUR OWN/ WITH OTHERS FROM YOUR OWN HOME AND AT A TIME CONVENIENT TO YOU.
We have 5000 leaflets to deliver in Stretford to those homes that are most in need of help but are unlikely to be aware of how to access the amazing support available at their local hub based at Stretford Public Hall.
We will do this by individually taking leaflets and dropping them off at pre-arranged locations whilst out exercising. Please note this is not a Group mission.
Sign up below and Kate will be in touch with how to find out which roads need to be covered and how to get hold of the leaflets to deliver. We need to deliver the leaflets by 29th May at the latest please.
REMEMBER: Please adhere to all government guidance on social distancing and take care to protect both yourself and others when undertaking this task by referring to our GoodGym Covid-19 guidance before starting out. Please contact Kate on firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any queries.
Date and time
10:30 - 10:30 Friday, 29th of May 2020

New to GoodGym?
This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.
New runners are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.
There's a place to leave bags and a toilet at the start point, all you need to do is bring your trainers. It's free to try - get involved!
