It was wonderful to join the busy crew at Elizabeth House Food Hub again on a Tuesday evening over the Summer break. Goodgym Islington have been lending a hand during the holidays for the last few years (particularly during the pandemic times) with dropping off shopping and essential supplies to local families and isolated people across the Arsenal and Highbury borough.

Our super team made short work of our deliveries (helped by those with cycle carriers and some much appreciated late minute sign ups!), so we stayed to assist with the close down process for this supermarket-style food bank project. Once we had the go-ahead, we moved at least 50 crates of donated food back into the kitchen area of Elizabeth House, to allow the sports hall to be used tomorrow morning.

Absolutely smashing work everyone- Thank you for coming down!
