'Bec'-cause she didn't want to get stuffed on the GoodGym run...!!

As this was the last run before Christmas, today's run saw some amazing festive hats - John's classic santa hat, Rupesh's disco light santa and Becca's award-winning turkey hat! Big kudos. Said hats (and 11 accompanying runners) ran the now familiar 3kms to White City where we delivered flyers for Parkview Community Champions to a couple of hundred local residents.

A quick task tonight, helped by George's lesson in 'how to use the fireman's keys'.... always helpful to know in advance it turns out.

Bonus 'good deeds' have to go to Aska and George for coming to the rescue of a member of the public who had been knocked over by a bicycle on the pavement!

After re-grouping we made a quick stop outside Our Lady of Fatima RC Church to admire their Christmas lights and to get a festive team photo, and then we were back on our run home. A team stop at the pub ensured we got a final festive drink in our equally festive red GG T-shirts. Aska and Will decided that they had burnt approximately 450 calories on the run, so promptly ordered a 6,000 calorie 'dustbin lid' of snacks....and we've never seen Will look so happy! A great pub trip to round off the night.

Happy Christmas all. The past 15 weeks have been a blast - see you in 2017 for more runs and good deeds :) Anna
