Whip it
2 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Lewisham.

Newcomer Daria and I joined a couple of members of Friends of Mountsfield Park to plant whips - small tree seedlings - in the park.
After a slowish start, we picked up pace and managed to plant roughly 20 whips around an existing patch of growth - being told lots about the history of the park by the FOMP volunteers. Apparently the park used to be the estate of a country house - with local fields with the fantastic names Upper Clanger and Lower Clanger.
