On a glorious sunny Monday evening three enthusiastic GoodGymers attended Stepney Bank Stables to help with a number of tasks. Charlotte also filled us in on the details from the weekend's GoodGym Shindig which she attended.

Who needs a fitness session when the first task of the day is moving four enormous hay bales? Hopefully no further damage was caused to Aimee's ailing back as we moved the hay bales indoors.

Next on the list of tasks was to remove all the weeds growing next to the wall outside the stables, before sweeping up all the debris, including a rather worrying amount of broken glass, cigarette ends and other assorted rubbish.

Finally we took a wheelbarrow to a nearby overgrown footpath to fill it with cow parsley for the horses and ponies. The passing cyclists probably wondered why we appeared to be weeding a random footpath, but it was a very worthwhile endeavour because we got to see the horses happily munching on it after returning to the stables.
