As Merton's local environmental charity, we aim to inspire, mobilise and enable our community to take action on climate change and protect our environment for future generations. Sustainability and wellbeing go hand in hand, so our projects address both environmental and social goals, such as addressing the cost of living crisis and strengthening community connections. We believe that a happier, healthier, more connected community is one that will have the greatest impact.

Merton Pride is taking place on Saturday 5th September and Goodgym will be helping with the pack down of stalls in Morden Hall after the parade but first we will be joining the parade and supporting Sustainable Merton to help with litter picking along the way.

Meet the Sustainable Merton team close to the start of the march, further details of the meeting location to be provided via email ahead of the session. Note that the what three words location showing on this listing is where the march starts in case you need to join us there. Litter pickers and bags will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own (some gloves might also be handy if you have these). Note that the parade takes place between 2-3pm and the route will be from Morden Hall Park to Abbey Mills. However we will tail off mid route and head back to the start area for the next session. You are welcome to continue with the Sustainable Merton team to the end of the route.
