Paws in the park

Surrounded by happy dogs out for Saturday walkies, I joined a team of volunteers who stopped off in Cator Park for a couple of hours to prepare the area to be used for the annual dog show. Last year’s show had to be cancelled due to COVID restrictions so there was an extra buzz of excitement about tomorrow’s event. By the time we’d tackled litter picking, tree trimming, weeding and some pruning back of stray brambles, the site looked tidy and ready for action.
