The Morden Family Funday is an annual event bringing together numerous charities and local organisations. The event takes place in Morden Park on the Sports Playing Fields (opposite the Mosque).

The organisers are in need to some help from GoodGym volunteers to help with loading and unloading items and other jobs. This may involve jumping in with the van drivers to help move items to location as short drive away, so you will need to be comfortable travelling with them.

Bring gloves if you have these, and ensure you are prepared for the weather (hat and suncream if it's hot, and a bottle of water). The area is grassy and covered toes are recommended given we will be moving things.

We will be meeting Andy onsite at 4.30pm. The event doesn't finish until 5pm but there will be preparatory jobs to do before the loading/unloading is needed.

There are two pedestrian entrances on London Road (A24), one opposite the mosque and another at the traffic lights just before Merton College. We will probably be moving around a bit, so the meeting location and any further details will be emailed to sign ups a day or two before.

Do consider helping with the set up (https://www.goodgym.org/v3/sessions/supporting-with-setting-up-the-morden-family-fun-day) earlier in the day, the event takes place between 10am and 5pm so do why not bring your friends and family along to enjoy it.
