Mortlake Girl Guides HallMortlake Girl Guiding have asked for our help clearing up leaves and getting things ready before the winter really kicks in.
We will meet at the Tap Tavern at 6.45pm where they kindly offer a space that we can leave bags securely, if needed. Together we will run the two mile/3km distance to Mortlake. All paces are welcome and we will have a backmarker to ensure that noone is ever left behind on their own. Alternatively, you can choose to meet at the task and cycle there or Mortlake Station is very close to the task.
If you have gardening gloves, please bring them with you. Also a headtorch is advisable if you have one.
After the task we will run back to Richmond town centre together. This task is open and welcoming to first timers too - a great way to get some meaningful volunteering and exercise, what a boost for the year ahead!
Mortlake Girl Guiding say: "Our hall is run entirely by volunteers and we not only run activities for girls , but also look after the hall for wider community use. We are currently saving for our new roof and refurbishment and we'd be very grateful of Good Gyms help with a few tasks to help us keep costs low of gardening and also help with getting us ready for camping season!"

New GoodGymers are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.
