Myself and Katherine helped out at the BATCA (Balham and Tooting Community Association) annual Community Fun Day.

There was a variety of Stalls promoting the local community, games, cakes/food, and inviting community interaction and feedback.

There was a great Cake Stall - Fruits of the Forest Sponge Cake (I would really recommend it).

Me and Catherine spoke to local residents to gain feedback from past BACTA events.

We also were getting people to sign up to email and posting lists.

We were also promoting two of their upcoming events:

September: Open Meeting

Wednesday 25th at 7pm

What’s going on in Mental Health?

A talk by Ranjeet Kaile

At Balham Mosque

October: Praying for Peace

The Faith Communities Of Tooting will be praying for peace

Wednesday 10th Of October

Outside Tooting Broadway Station

6pm-7pm

The whole time we where they we were thoroughly entertained by a very energetic Clown 🤡 bubbles/songs/& balloon animals.
