The herbs, vegetables and fruits on the community allotment are doing well - but there are still a few parts where the weeds are winning! So we showed the weeds that it was thyme to to 'beet it!' The sun shone and we had to soften the ground by watering it first in order to get at the roots. We filled 2 bags with the weeds and left this part of the plot clear and ready for planting - lettuce celebrate!
