15 Hackney GoodGymers ran 6k to shift and spread 3 tonnes of Mulch in Abney Park Cemetery.

Great to be joined by some new GoodGym faces this week. Hope you all enjoyed your Tuesday evening adventure!

Setting off at a pace led speedily by Amy on our 3k dash to Stokes. Gliding over the pavement with efficiency and grace we got to Abney to meet park manager Quinten.

Getting tooled and gloves up we headed deep into the Abney darkness guided by spot lights and smiles we got to the Walled mound and got cracking!!

Shovelling at a ferrous pace and expert barrow navigation plus unloading with precision.

With the massive mulch mound going down the path was being filled to survive the winter mud so allowing the park to remain accessible and used.

With 200 metres of path laid and 3 tonnes of mulch shovelled, shifted and tipped we had dominated a great physical task!

Running a bit behind we put our feet to good use and zoomed back to base!

Thanks for a great evening and hope to see you next week for some gnome painting fun and games!

Smooth Running

Joel
