The gang at Parkinson's cricket were in fine fettle, and had me running all over the hall retrieving balls. They started off with some target practice, throwing balls to hit an array of cones at the other end of the hall. Following that, they focussed on batting accuracy; aiming to get the ball between two cones.
We finished off with a game. Everyone who wanted to had a go at batting and bowling, with the rest of us fielding. I even managed to catch a couple of balls this week (saves bending down for them).

Tracey helped out the gang at Parkinson's Cricket. We warmed up with bowling exercises & then enjoyed a game of clock cricket.

It was a cold day, and it inspired Alex from DCF to have curling as our warm-up activity. Fortunately, the room wasn't frozen, and he'd brought rolling curling stones. We went on to a game of cricket and then tea and biscuits.

We got together with the friendly crowd at Derbyshire Cricket Foundation's Monday Mates monthly café. There was a bit of setting up to do, so we moved a lot of chairs and set up the very important tea and coffee table. One of the chairs was bad, so we sent it to the corner. There was an ugly face or two at the news that this would be Tim's last session here before he moves away.

We met the gang at DCF's Parkinson's Cricket in a warm hall on a cold day. After a chat, we were recovering balls from the warm-up, then from the bowling practice, Alex made it harder by moving cones to make the bowling straighter and farther. The session finished with a chat over tea and biscuits.
