A beautiful place! and met some beautiful volunteers.

Today, we cleared a patch to plant some tulip bulbs. Not as easy as it sounds.

This involved some muscle work. Shovelling, raking and then hand picking plant waste to be put in compost bins.

Very calming and peaceful place 😊

It was a lovely little session of moving and grooving.

we started with a warm up and did a few moves and danced to Better When I'm Dancing as you always feel better when you dance!

It was lovely to exchange moves as well. We also gave a little boogie to the trending song Baby Doll by Jamie Miller.

The whole session we were just vibing!

Weeding and clearing and fixing the rockery.

We removed bulbs from the soil and rehomed them into the rockery and let's just say the bulbs were hiding in the soil.

A beautiful sunny morning weeding and clearing to maintaining the allotments at Northcliffe.

There were some. apples and pears and blackberries too and we couldn't resist but to take some!

Today at Surplus To Purpose it was extremely busy. New delivery came in with frozen foods. Helped move the boxes inside to be counted and then priced up.

I began loading the freezer with large amount of frozen goodies.

And before I knew it the customers were already waiting to pick their bargains.

Much needed help. I made sure I didn't miss out 🤭

Asimah and I worked hard on clearing paths at Northcliffe before a visit on Tuesday by the Yorkshire in Bloom judges.
