GoodGym is a wonderful initiative. It combines three of the most powerful ways of uplifting your own wellbeing – exercising, socialising, and, above all, doing good for others

All of our tasks are fun, but this one really felt like we were having a clear and direct impact on those in need, and whilst packing the bags we could literally imagine a child opening their bag on Christmas Day.

Welcome to WWF x GoodGym’s Workout for Nature
Throughout April WWF and GoodGym are collaborating on hundreds of sessions to celebrate Earth Day. Each session will involve a Workout for Nature - a physical volunteering activity which will benefit local green spaces, and give your own wellbeing a boost. Simply sign up below and come along. No experience required!
Perfect to combine with Lloyd Park parkrun!
Coombe Wood Gardens have asked for our help: Children love running down the paths in the prairie garden which need clearing and mulching. Beds need mulching to suppress weeds, a popular garden for public to visit. Paths swept and cleared, mulch applied to paths through the paradise garden and beds. We will meet at the gate but if you arrive later we may be by the equipment shed at the top of the path. Remember to bring gardening gloves if you have them.
Gardens were previously award winning but council budget cuts meant professional gardener was let go about 3 years ago. We started volunteering here in October 2023 and have already made a noticeable difference with just 2 volunteers.

This is a GoodGym community mission. When we're doing a community mission we make our own way to the task, so you can choose to walk, run, or cycle. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs

GoodGym is a community of people that get fit by doing good. We run, walk and cycle to do practical tasks for community organisations and isolated older people.
