About the task

St Wulstan's Church sits at the heart of Warndon and serves the parish as well as a local scout group and child minding service. The area at the back of the church includes a wild garden and peaceful terrace and we have been asked to carry out some maintenance. This week we'll be finishing any of the painting from the previous session, preparing a wall for painting. There will also be some litter picking plus any other tasks that come up! If we have the time and energy then there will be an option for a slightly longer run back along the canal.

boldPlease note that for this week and the previous week the meeting point will be Perdiswell leisure centre as this gives us a 2km run to the church. bold*

Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.

This is a GoodGym group run. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run to the task together. If you can't run for more than 15 minutes without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact your area activator Marcus Mumford (he/him) by email at marcus@goodgym.org.

Options are available to run between 4km and 5km in total.

Remember that we will be running to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.

GoodGym is a community of people that get fit by doing good. We run, walk and cycle to do practical tasks for community organisations and isolated older people.
