About
The South Ealing Community Food Cupboard (SECFC) is a community project set up to reduce waste and carbon emissions. The SEC Food Cupboard will offer good quality surplus food items to anyone who would like to come and collect them for their personal use.
Every Monday, SECFC receives surplus food from supermarkets (e.g. via Felix Project), market traders etc., and is regularly visited by over 100 people each week. It is run by local volunteers, often elderly, who would greatly benefit from some practical assistance in manual handling tasks. Help with unloading vans would be much appreciated.

South Ealing Community Food CupboardThe SEC Food Cupboard is a community project set up to reduce waste. A group of local volunteers receives/collects surplus food from the supermarkets (Eg via Felix Project) and makes it available to anyone and everyone from the local area. The SEC Food Cupboard is available to all – its aim is purely to reduce waste and everyone can help with that. Always Free! The selection of food items each week will vary according to what is surplus food on that day.

This is a GoodGym community mission. When we're doing a community mission we make our own way to the task, so you can choose to walk, run, or cycle. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs
GoodGym is a community of people that get fit by doing good. We run, walk and cycle to do practical tasks for community organisations and isolated older people.
