About the task

Note that the session starts at 7pm. The listing shows 6.30pm as this is the meeting time if you are joining the group walk/run beforehand (further details below).

You are welcome to add a walk/run/cycle beforehand from any location and invite others to join you - there's an option under 'Getting There' so feel free to use it.

The community garden project grows vegetables for the church activities and the community. Over the seasons the garden has lots of different jobs and our host Abby will have lots for us to do.

Please bring gardening gloves if you have some and dress for the weather.

Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.

This is a GoodGym community mission. There is an option to meet other GoodGymers and run to the task. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs

This session is organised by your Taskforce, a group of experienced GoodGym members in your area. They are not responsible for your safety. You should feel confident to participate in the session as it is described and you do so at your own risk.

GoodGym is a community of people that get fit by doing good. We run, walk and cycle to do practical tasks for community organisations and isolated older people.
