GoodGym is a wonderful initiative. It combines three of the most powerful ways of uplifting your own wellbeing – exercising, socialising, and, above all, doing good for others

All of our tasks are fun, but this one really felt like we were having a clear and direct impact on those in need, and whilst packing the bags we could literally imagine a child opening their bag on Christmas Day.

About the task

Important Information

This week, we will meet at Maria's Gardens to help the team with this awesome task. There is not a scheduled group run this week. This is a special mid-day session for the festive break!

This week, we are planning to lend a hand at Maria's Gardens, a Nature Trail between Isledon Gardens and the Sam Morris Nursery Gardens. Expect some lifting and shifting, mixed with tidying and beautifying for the local community!

Task Location:

Maria's Gardens Isledon Gardens (near Sam Morris Nursery) 38 Parkside Cres, London, N7 7JG

Our meet point is actually just beyond Isledon Gardens, on the same road at the Sam Morris Nursery- opposite 38 Parkside Crescent

See the photo on this event page to see the entrance gate

If you are looking for more Goodgym fun this morning, we will also be joining the wonderful folks at Caledonian Park junior parkrun to help with marshalling and course volunteering too.

After some hot drinks and maybe some breakfast, we will make our way to Isledon Gardens!

GoodGym is a community of people that get fit by doing good. We run, walk and cycle to do practical tasks for community organisations and isolated older people.
