As part of Men's Health Week, we are teaming up with Bolton Manbassadors, a men's mental health project - supporting them with decorating a community centre.
The Living Room, in Little Lever is being converted into a space for men to relax, have a brew, play some darts and table tennis and generally feel comfortable and supported with their mental health.
Bolton Manbassadors need support with some decorating of the room - wear some old clothes!!

Bolton Manbassadors is a men's mental health project delivered by Be One Homes. They want to normalise conversations around mental health, remove the stigma, and support men to get the support they need. The aims of the project are to: - Raise awareness locally of the mental health issues facing men. - Grow a network of local organisations across Bolton acting as men’s health advocates – Manbassadors – who look out for and speak with their customers. - Help men engage with other services that can support their mental health. - Develop a network of men's social and community activities across Bolton, creating safe spaces for men to be able to talk about mental wellbeing.

This is a GoodGym group run. You'll meet other GoodGymers at the start location and run to the task together. If you can't run for more than 15 minutes without stopping or you're worried about any aspect of the session, contact your area activator Rowan Ardill (he/him) by email at rowan@goodgym.org.
Options are available to run between 6km and 11km in total.
Remember that we will be running to and from the task, so you'll only be running for half this distance in one go.
GoodGym is a community of people that get fit by doing good. We run, walk and cycle to do practical tasks for community organisations and isolated older people.
