Getting there

For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!

    About this session

IMPORTANT- please sign up on our website so we can send you important details https://www.alzheimers.org.uk/get-involved/events-and-fundraising/join-event/memory-walk/nottingham-memory-walk

As a volunteer at Nottingham Memory Walk you will support the running of the event. We have roles for everyone, including on our event site, out on route or back marking. As an event site volunteer you will support by selling merchandise, answering walker questions and much more. As a route volunteer you will be directing our walkers on route and cheering them one. As a back marker volunteer you will follow the last of our walkers, keeping the event team updated, taking down signage and relieving other route volunteers as you go. We simply cannot run Memory Walks without volunteers.

Our volunteer start time is 8:45am and finish will be around 2:30pm.
