Getting there

For this session we're going to meet at the task, so you'll need to make your own way there. We encourage you to walk, run, or cycle to do so!

    About this session

Morden Parkrun course is in it's infancy so much like Goodgym Merton the team would welcome extra volunteers, particularly at this time of year - more details can be found at https://www.parkrun.org.uk/morden/volunteer/. The event starts a few metres from the bandstand and finishes in the same area. What3words location: ///swung.repair.cycle

When signing up to this task do make sure to also email morden@parkrun.com to be added to the roster, you will need to provide your parkrun ID found on your barcode. Joining instructions (timings, location, who to contact) will then be provided prior to the event.

If you've never been to a parkrun before you'll need to register on the parkrun website (https://www.parkrun.org.uk/register/) to get your barcode.

Afterwards, why not head along to another session over at Canon's House in Mitcham at 11am, and join a few of the team and support Sustainable Merton with some planting: https://www.goodgym.org/happenings/help-with-planting

    What to look out for

Make sure you've read our general guidelines for safety for taking part in a GoodGym session.

This is a GoodGym community mission. When we're doing a community mission we make our own way to the task, so you can choose to walk, run, or cycle. Thinking of cycling - check out our FAQs

This session is organised by your Taskforce, a group of experienced GoodGym members in your area. They are not responsible for your safety. You should feel confident to participate in the session as it is described and you do so at your own risk.
