About this session

Come and join Area Activator and UK Coach in Running Fitness (CiRF) Simon for a fun mixed pace training session

Our plan is to meet up outside the legendary Poplar Union E14 at 7.50am, before enjoying an easy jog and dynamic warm up in Bartlett Park by 8am.

Our session is as follows:

Big Loop, Little Loop

5 minutes jogging after specific dynamic warm up

Big Loop - Steady / Tempo pace (60-70% effort)

Little Loop - Tempo - Threshold pace (70 - 80% effort)

6 - 8 reps between both loops (in a figure of 8)

Finish when the first runner reaches 8 full loops

5 min cool down (recovery pace)

Afterwards, we will make a trip back to Poplar Union E14 for refreshments and delicious cakes!
