Hi everyone and welcome to GoodGym Greenwich!
We're a friendly and social group who combine running with volunteering in the local community. We meet every Wednesday to get active and do a physical task for charities and community organisations in the area.
The Task
This week we'll be sweeping the path we sometimes run down by Morden College which is lovely older people's home. The path is in two parts so we'll split into teams and bag up as much leaves and litter as possible and then head to the bar at Morden College and join some of the residents for a drink 😁🍻
The Run
The run will be about 2.5km. We recommend you will be comfortable joining a session if you can run for around 15-20 minutes without stopping but everyone is welcome at any pace - we never leave anyone behind.
Where & When
This week we'll meet at 6.45pm for a 7pm start at Charlton House. The what three words location is "army.rips.spicy". Give Rachel a call on 07952192005 if you can't find us! The session will be about 90 minutes in total so we should be all wrapped up by 8.30pm.
If you want to meet at the task the address is John Morden Centre, Morden College, 19 St Germans Place,SE3 0PW. We will meet in the reception about 7.20pm. Please let me know in the comments if you want to meet us there.
What To Bring
Please bring some gloves if you have some, otherwise it's just yourself.
